So many children today are struggling silently. They’re overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by low self-esteem, or caught in a pattern of poor decision-making, and they don’t always know how to ask for help.

Hi, I’m Alexandria Hurst, a Child Therapist at Power Within Child Therapists. I work with children who are dealing with challenges that impact how they see themselves and how they show up in the world.

When kids struggle with confidence or decision-making, it can affect their relationships, school performance, and their ability to express themselves. That’s where counseling comes in. Not as a fix, but as a path forward.

In our sessions, I help children build a stronger sense of self, feel empowered to make healthy choices, and discover tools they can use for life. Therapy with me is playful, creative, and supportive. I bring a holistic approach to healing, because kids are whole people with thoughts, feelings, bodies, and spirits that all need care.

Here’s how to get started with counseling for your child.

Step 1: Fill out the new appointment form on our website.

Step 2: We’ll have a 20-minute chat with you to understand their situation and determine if we’re a good match.

Step 3: If it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule the first session and start the counseling journey.

If your child is struggling, you’re not alone, and neither are they. Take the first step towards a brighter, healthier future by scheduling an appointment with us today. I’d be honored to walk alongside you both on this journey to healing, confidence, and joy.
